Monday Motivation Moment
As autumn arrives, the change in nature reminds me to stop, reflect, and acknowledge all the hard work we’ve put in this year. Just like nature’s harvest, our personal and creative efforts deserve to be celebrated – even the small wins.
For me, Poised Wanderer has been a journey of growth and I’m loving seeing my recent work paying off. Releasing two new designs, Safety in the Pack and Strongest Hearts, feels like a milestone, not just in my work but in how I’ve grown with this brand.
Safety in the Pack is about the strength that comes from community – whether that’s your family, friends, or the wider circle of people who share your values. It’s about finding comfort and protection in connection, just like wolves in the wild. I’ve always believed we don’t thrive in isolation and this design says it all.
Then there’s Strongest Hearts. This one’s personal. It’s about the quiet resilience we all have, the kind that keeps you grounded when life throws curveballs. Think of the scars the wolf bears, both physical and metaphorical, and yet the pack survives. We humans have hunted wolves to near extinction in some areas and, after reintroduction, the species have been able to survive and thrive. And the trees that stand tall through storms. Their roots grow deeper, their branches bend but don’t break. I created this design to remind myself – and everyone who relates to it – that we have the strength to endure when things get tough. We all have a little wilderness within!
This year, look back at your own year. Maybe your achievements don’t feel big but like I’ve learned through this process, every step counts. Whether you finally started that project you’ve been thinking about or took a small but meaningful step towards a personal goal, give yourself permission to celebrate it.
Nature teaches us growth isn’t always visible. Sometimes it’s what happens underground, out of sight, that prepares us for what’s next. The same is true for your journey. Even if it feels like you haven’t done “enough” remember everything you’ve done so far is part of a bigger process. The seeds you’ve planted will bear fruit, just as nature waits patiently through winter for spring to bloom again.
So what seeds have you planted this year? Take a minute to think about it, no matter how small. You deserve to celebrate your efforts and reap your rewards – because like the trees in autumn, you’re getting ready for something more.
